Monty python is a comedy troupe started by Michael Palin, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Terry Gilliam. There were also a variety of extras such as Neil Innes and Carol Cleavland.
And if you're interested in a little tid bit of useless information you would like to know that Monty Python happens to be the choice of comedic movies at my high school's marching band parties.
